Kevin Bansley is a credentialed educational specialist, structured literacy dyslexia interventionist, and holds a Master’s degree from the Azusa Pacific Graduate School of Special Education.
Kevin Bansley is a member of the Association of Educational Therapists, International Dyslexia Association (IDA), CHADD, and the Learning Disabilities Association of America (LDA). He’s also received extensive post-graduate training in several prominent literacy programs, including Orton Gillingham and the Wilson Reading System.
After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and prior to his career in education, he was an assistant basketball coach and head strength and conditioning coach for the men’s basketball team at APU. This experience has been supplementary to interventions as he lends his expertise in nutrition and exercise physiology to provide a holistic approach and foster the development of self-confident individuals who feel positively about themselves.
Most recently, in 2023, Kevin received dual accreditation as a Certified Provider from UCLA’s world-renowned PEERS® Program which offers social skills treatment to preschoolers, adolescents, and young adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, and other socio-emotional problems.
With a passion for clients of all learning styles, he guides clients in developing an awareness of their strengths so they can be used to their best advantage and discover their learning potential. He is dedicated to serving his community through his work with non-profit agencies within the South Bay and the Greater Los Angeles Area. He enjoys being active, loves his Dodgers, and prioritizes spending time with his family.
