Reilly Harper, MA, AMFT
Academic Specialist
Reilly Harper brings a unique and powerful blend of academic intervention and clinical training to South Bay Educational Therapy.
She holds a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University and is a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. She has received training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), grief counseling certification under David Kessler, and Playful EMDR — equipping her with developmentally appropriate tools to support emotional regulation and stress management within an academic framework.
This insight allows Reilly to effectively bridge academic and emotional support. In addition to her therapeutic background, Reilly has extensive experience providing individualized academic support to elementary through high school students, working with students who have learning differences, IEPs, anxiety, and executive functioning challenges - she understands how emotional regulation, confidence, and coping skills directly impact academic performance.
Her ability to integrate these strategies into structured, goal-oriented academic sessions makes her particularly effective in thoughtfully supporting the whole child — academically and emotionally — in a way that feels steady and personalized for families.
With Reilly, your child is not just educated - they’re understood, encouraged, and genuinely cared for.
